Spring and Summer Catches

Tim & Trev met at the
car park at 7am & made their way to an old favourite swim where they had
both had some good results in the past, From the start the fish kept coming Trev
had a near Twenty at 19lb-10oz & during the session many more carp were
landed including fish of up to 16lb + best baits were boilies in various
flavours including the source, tiger nut, bird food & Robin Red this was a
really nice session & probably the last until next season as The Pike
Fishing season starts very soon...

We often joke about Dave as
Rainy Dave or 'The Rain Maker' Today it is confirmed that even for Dave this Day
turned out to be one of the Wettest days of our fishing careers, still as always
we tackled the day with great enthusiasm, we managed to set up in the dry &
pack up in the dry 'just. We caught from the outset & banked Common Carp,
Mirror Carp, Bream, Crucian Carp, Rudd, Roach, Tench & Perch. Despite the
weather we had a lovely day, next trip with Dave Probably October Piking
!

This was the first trip to a
new water Foxearth Fisheries near Sudbury, The Weather Forecast was heavy
showers , we caught fron the first cast Tim landing a super Roach of over a
pound we also had sizeable Perch, Bream, Rudd , & a couple of Carp to about
4lbs. This is a very nice venue that we shall try
again.
River Stour Sdbury 14th

This was the first outing for
Trev & Dave this season, the weather forecast was heavy rain & we were
expecting a soaking, still we thought that they can sometimes get the weather
wrong, it turned out that we had a overcast slightly windy but dry day,, anyway
we caught a variety of fish , including Roach,Perch,Scimmer Bream,
Bream,Rudd,Chub,& you guessed it 7 Pike, Dave caught 2 on spinners a (first
for him on lures) all in all a lovely trip on the River with plenty of action,we
can't wait to do it all over again !

The River Stour Sudbury
After a long spell of winter
flood water & icy weather the river today was a joy to be out on, Trev took
Ed out on Piker 1 for a trip for a few hours & both anglers located the pike
& boated 11 between them up to 10lb although no monsters it was nice to see
the pike active in the mild weather.
