River Stour 10th February 2012
Trev again in freezing weather on a short session
in the afternoon
caught this Pike of10lb-8oz on
smelt.

River Stour 7th February 2012
Trev had a short session in freezing temperature's
& was rewarded with this nice Pike of 11lb-04oz on a pop up Mackerel
tail.

The River Stour Friday 20th January 2012
Dave Joined Trev aboard Piker 1 for the day, apart
from the torrential rain all day they had a good time trying to outwit Mr Pikey
down river from Cornard, they ended the session with 3 Pike best about 5lbs
from one of their favourite swims back at Sudbury. Both anglers look forward to
the next trip when hopefully it will be dry..

Trev was faced with sub zero Temperatures when
arriving to get Piker 1 out, after a little while he broke the ice & managed
to get to the main river which was mainly ice free , he caught 3 Pike biggest
about 8lbs not bad in the conditions. sorry no fish pics on this
trip..
The River Stour Sudbury Friday 13th January
2012
As the weather was set fine & Cold after an
overnight frost Trev decided last minute to take Piker 1 out on his own, The day
was a good one & Trev Caught 8 Doubles including fish of 14lb-15oz,
15lb-14oz, & a 17lb-12oz beauty (see Photo below), also 2 fish were lost
after a short fight..
Monday 9th January 2012 Tufnel Mere
Chelmsford
Today was the first trip to Tufnel Mere this year
for Dave & Trev, the weather was very mild for January & both Trev &
Dave had Pike on dead baits, best fish fell to Dave at 10lb exactly followed by
Trev's at 9lb-14oz, another angler piking at Tufnel today had one of 13lb-8oz so
it appears that the fish are putting on weight & may suprise us with a
Twenty pounder soon. Trev & Dave also lost a couple of decent sized
Pike. We will be Back Soon....

2012
Tim & Trev had their first trip out on Piker 1
this year & both caught Pike although not monsters they were still nice to
have on board & a good start to the new year!
Christmas Eve 2011 River
Stour
Trev was tempted to a short morning session on his
local Pikey Pool
and was duly rewarded with this nice pike of
about 7lbs,, bait was a sardine.
The River Chelmer 19th
December 2011
Trev joined Tim over at Chelmsford with the
intention to fish Boreham Mere but when Trev turned up it was frozen solid so
Tim & Trev decided to fish the River Chelmer instead , Tim Managed to catch
a nice pike of about 6lbs & Trev Blanked.

12th December 2011
Today Dave joined Trev for the day out on Piker 1
the day turned out to be sunny & Dave Bagged this Lovely Pike of 12lb-14oz
Trev's biggest on the day was estimated at about 10lbs, we also caught another
10 Pike of a good size & missed a few others, The river is now getting in
winter form & we are hopeful that the really big girls will start to show
over the coming weeks....
This pike Took on more than he
could manage, after a strugle to remove the bait the fish was returned
safely!

We had a lovely day & bagged up with Ten Pike
the best went to Tim at 14lb-13oz. Well Done Tim you deserved it,, looking
forward to the next session !..

Ed joined Trev for a session
on the river today & they had 8 Pike to about 9lbs,, they had plenty of
missed runs as usual but the sun was shining for a
change.

With reports of Big Pike coming out of the Stour
recently Tim & Trev were in pursuit, after a good attempt both anglers
landed 3 Pike each biggest about 6lbs, due to the short daylight hours at
this time of year it can be hard going but Tim & Trev made the most of the
day.. back soon for the Biggies...
17th October 2011 The River
Stour
This was the first outing for Dave for some time,
this trip produced 7 Pike on Board & several missed fish all in all very
promising for the coming months, at the end the day Trev Demonstrated to Dave
how to do the Splits & Joined Dave in the exclusive Ducking Club ! He
who Dares get's Soaked..

October 2011
A very windy day with temperatures in the upper
60's not the best conditions for Pike but we still managed 5 between us & a
few missed fish , the prospects for the next few weeks are looking
good.
Although we do pike fish in the summer
mainly using lures we start serious piking from October onwards out on Trev's
boat Piker 1 based at Sudbury Suffolk & from the bankside from various
waters in Essex our aim is to catch a twenty pound pike, so far we have had some
nice fish to upper double figures & look forward to the really big girls
making a show this Winter, Wish us luck we need it
!
